With your tangible offerings, help us support women who experience Period Poverty!
Period poverty is real for all too many women. About 1 in 4 female students in the US miss a week of school each month during their periods as they have no access to supplies and cannot afford them. Adult women miss work for the same as well due to a lack of access and/or funds to obtain menstrual products. At the recent Women of the ELCA convention a memorial/resolution was passed encouraging education about the issue and donations of supplies to food banks, women’s shelters, and homeless organizations. In response, we will be collecting the following and giving it to local organizations for women experiencing period poverty.

Panties and sports bras

Individual hygiene products such as deodorant, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes
If you are unable to attend, please consider donating to an organization in your area that distributes period products.
FYI – The convention registration fee of $65 will be used to cover the cost of Saturday’s meals. Therefore, there is no one-day registration option.
